Adventure with Me: Badlands

I always see the advice “Buy the ticket” floating through social media. So when Irma proposed a road trip to Badlands National Park, I didn’t even hesitate. I booked the airbnb (with the craziest host) and next thing we knew we were driving to South Dakota with no real plan. This spontaneous trip with such a good friend ended up being one of my favorite trips ever.

Things we saw/ate/did

  • Mount Rushmore

  • Badlands National Park

  • Buffalo Gap - WE SAW WILD BUFFALO.

  • Harriet and Oak - I had the lavender matcha latte with almond milk and the atmosphere was A+

  • Jerry’s Donuts - Best cake donuts I’ve had.

  • Dinosaur Park - Awesome views of Rapid City and there are dinosaurs. What more can I say?

  • Wall Drug - Infamous. Absolutely lived up to the hype. Lots of good laughs.
